Wick & Trautwein, LLC has the unique perspective of a former prosecutor who has extensive experience prosecuting criminal cases. We help construct reasonable plea agreements and vigorously and zealously represent our clients when the facts and circumstances demand a trial.

DUI & DWAI

On average it takes very little alcohol to become legally drunk in the State of Colorado. Driving with a blood alcohol content level (BAC) .02 and above is illegal for anyone below 21 years of age. BAC levels between .05 and .07 result in a Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI) charge and a BAC of .08 and above results in a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charge. Colorado's express consent law provides that any driver in the state automatically agrees to take a chemical test, and a driver's refusal to do so will result in a one year revocation of the driver's license.
